Sevenhills Wholefoods Organic Raw Extra Virgin Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is the beneficial fat from the coconut which has gained popularity due to to its saturated fat content. Coconuts are harvested by hand, the shells are removed and the coconut milled and the oil extracted using a cold-processing technique, then filtered. Coconut oil solidifies at room temperature, but with the addition of heat can become liquid. Our coconut oil is suitable for cooking, baking and frying, or add to smoothies, protein shakes and salad dressings. It can also be used as a natural moisturiser, hair product, massage oil and for oil pulling.

Our coconut oil is sourced from organic producers. Normally this product is great. This time, the seal was broken and there was a big hole in the centre of it??? Smells ok and tastes ok, but feels little weird and uncomfortable. Never seen it before like this. Rather disappointed! Would have returned it, but was flying out the following day and needed it with me.
Hope this won't happen again!

Grade of product is poor. I brought this as it was half the price of the usual merchant brand I buy and had good reviews. But after trying it out for a month +. This coconut oil might smell coconuty but it is a lot more watery they other well known brands on Amazon.
I wonder if it has been cut with another oil.

I am in the process of sending it back and going back to the more expensive competitor.

Also on a related not, im not convinced about it having a taste award either as I can not find any information on this and its not on the physical products label you receive.

Excellent Coconut Oil from Sevenhills.
I've tried a few different brands but the Sevenhills is by far the best!
The price could be a little lower, however this time I ordered a 1 Litre Jar and it'll last me a while.
At present I'm using it to help remove head lice, also as a skin moisturiser, and to help the scalp recover from such a lot of combing.
Much to my horror I must have picked head lice up from one of my granddaughters 🙈
I have never had them before, even as a child I was lucky enough not to catch them
from my sister and classmates.
This product is excellent quality and I intend to use use this Large Jar for all sorts of things.
I've separated this jar into 2 different 500 mls clean jars, one for my hair/scalp and as a face moisturiser too. The other one is being kept for cooking to see what it tastes like as I've never used it dour cooking, frying before. There are lots of very good comments/reviews that say it's excellent for cookibg/ frying, therefore I'm going to try it
I don't think you can go wrong with this Sevenhills Coconut Oil, it's a very good Virgin

Ive tried supermarket coconut oil, the horrible type, and good type from coconut merchant. This one seems to be just like the coconut merchant one - fantastic. Great tasting and smelling and looking!

The only difference is this one is the cheapest, good quality on amazon :). A tenner for a litre.

Now it came through prime for me, so they box it. However the lid is not secure at all as you can see in the picks. So the seller send the bottles to amazon and they just packaged it in cardboard and shock chusion. If it had gotten hot, over 24 celcius, it may have leaked. Regardless it didnt look like it did so all good with me :)

Coconut oil is fantastic for all kinds of things. Especially nervous system and memory and regulating around. Thats why it helps those with alzeihmer disease.

I do see some reviews saying it came yellow and since the lid came poorly I assume some rare batches may be unlucky. But still worth it to buy from these lads. Quality is perfect and by price far cheaper and you can expect this stuff from every company.

I use coconut oil as skin moisture. I have used different brands in the past. From cheap to expensive brands. . After using for several weeks I am very disappointed with this brand. Instead of moisturising it dries our skin. Never tried for cooking so can't comment on this. I would recommend manufacturer no to advertise as skin moisturiser.

Jar shattered and cut my hand oil leaked into car seat

It is a decent quality item, however, it has arrived with the jar shattered to little pieces which have cut my hand in several places- this is especially bad news as I work in a hospital where infection risks are high if you have cuts on your hands. The 1l of oil has also leaked out of the jar and the paper container in the hot weather flooding everything around it with slippery coconut oil. The damage and loss is bigger than the price of this item and I will never ever order from this seller. A good advice to the seller: the packaging needs to be fluid- tight like with all other good brands! Try to get coconut oil out of your car seat, it will be challenging :( !
