From the Author
A practical parenting resource for understanding your child.
Using the ancient Indian method of body typing, my book teaches parents how to turn the most wild child into a balanced tot. One of the most important secrets in the book shows that through observation parents can learn to identify the baby's mind/body type--or dosha--by watching his eating and sleeping patterns, sensitivity to light and noise, and interaction with others. Many childhood ailments such as food allergies and colic can be avoided after learning the "seven secrets." This book offers a consise yet wonderful way for parents to learn how to teach their child self-nurturing instead of self-indulgence. A balanced mind/body is the first step towards a long and healthy life.

The author was worked at Deepak Chopra's Center. Personally I find the Ayurvedic approach can be difficult to follow in some ways and isn't appealing to me. But lots of good tips for those looking for a more holistic perspective than western medicine.
