the story line and characters. the relationship build up between the two characters is lovely, they go from not liking
each other to falling in love, very romantic.
The story is packed with fun moments and lots of rule breaking. The characters are believable, charismatic and easy to empathise with because of the brilliant writing style of the author. It was great to have a romance evolving rather than being instant lust, the plot enhanced the reader’s participation in the story, taking them on the journey with the main characters and providing lots of humorous interludes on their roller coaster journey to romance.
Sawyer sets off as a philanderer who is unlikely to ever settle down but he became really cute and possessive but fighting it as the story progressed, As for Kelsie - well I really hope she learns how to cook!
This is a superbly entertaining read with brilliant banter, imaginative interventions, definitely different dates and an enchanting epilogue. Would I recommend it? Well, if you’ve not guessed yet that I totally enjoyed this, I’ll just make it clear and state that this is highly recommended to anyone who enjoys romances that develop with plenty of angst, humour and laughs en route to a well earned HEA.
Thanks to the author, publishers and NetGalley, too, for gifting me an ARC of this novel in exchange for an honest review.

For Seven Nights Only by Sarah Ballance – a Review
For Seven Nights OnlyAmazon / Barnes & Noble / Kobo / BAM
Kelsie Reed is over bad luck and bad men. Newly dumped, she’s now the pathetically single maid of honor in her sister’s wedding—and her ex is the best man. Her bad luck continues when a plumbing meltdown in her apartment sends her sexy neighbor running to her rescue. He’s got “serial dater” written all over him, which is unfortunate because the man is hot.
Sawyer Chase loves women, but settling down? He’ll leave that to his brothers. But when Kelsie confesses she’s a dating disaster and is about to become the laughing stock of her family wedding, Sawyer takes control. He’s got one week to teach her how to land the man of her dreams, and he’ll do it on her terms: no touching, no kissing, and definitely nothing more.
But some rules need to be broken, especially when, for once, there’s something on the line worth fighting for…
For Seven Nights Only by Sarah Ballance is the second book in her Chase Brothers series.
Kelsie doesn’t have luck with men, they never stick around long enough for her to maintain a relationship. And so now, poor Kelsie, being the maid of honor at her sisters wedding has no date.Read more ›
It’s all really light and fluffy and enjoyable, with Sawyer teaching Kelsie how to be more confident – without ever wanting to change her, thank goodness – while Kelsie slowly teaches Sawyer that settling down won’t actually kill him. Not that either of them realise that’s what she’s doing, since Sawyer is too scared to fall in love, while Kelsie doesn’t trust him to stay interested in her beyond the next week. They’re cute together when they’re out, and their chemistry is scorching, even if there were times when I wanted to bang their heads together to stop them being so foolish. Especially when it was so obvious to each of them that the other wanted more.
If you’re looking for something easy and fun, with plenty of heat and a pretty cute ending, then this should definitely fit the bill. It’s neither surprising nor complicated, but as an escape it will hopefully make you smile. I look forward to seeing which of the younger Chase brothers is up next.
