"Serendipity's Secret" is a "must-read" for anyone wishing to experience the power of coaching, as well as a useful reminder of successful coaching techniques for practising coaches.

The fun and vivid story of Serendipity the cat and her life-coach, Pollyanna the parrot, illustrates beautifully how we can all take responsibility for our lives to help us achieve our goals and find happiness. The book also contains self-coaching exercises to enable the reader to follow Serendipity's example by setting goals and taking actions to reach them.

I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to make the journey towards achieving their true potential and, like Serendipity, to feel like "the cat that got the cream"!

This book is clearly aimed at the coaching market as a lot of the tools you use come from that arena such as a take on the wheel of life, anchors, and the Cartesian coordinate questions, and as such would appeal to coaches, therapists and trainers.

However it is also a book that anyone who is interested in personal development, mastery and success could easily benefit from. There are many books on success out there, but a lot of them have very broad concepts that are either too weird or too complicated to implement in the hectic lives that a lot of people lead these days.

This is a book that can be read from cover to cover, or also a bite at a time, and I can see people reading it on trains, planes or wherever people are, when they have a few minutes to spare. There are also enough tools in it, to take one and use it for that day, depending what challenge you are currently facing, or your state of mind at that moment.

I have personally read a lot of books, and in general read 2 or 3 a month, but a lot of them I don't finish because I get bored easily, that wasn't the case with this book. Although it is a meaty book 218 pages, I still read it cover to cover very rapidly, and did apply some of the tools. Especially the chapter at the end where its condensed into a workable format of all the ideas and tools that had preceded chapter 14. in fact you could just read that last chapter and have enough there to help you on any goals or dreams you are working on at the present.

This is a wonderful book whether you are looking to take your own life forward, or are a Coach helping others to do the same. The story takes you on journey where you can witness the endearing character Serendipity start to explore a preferable future. By observing and becoming involved with the highs and the lows you start to identify and reflect on your own life and how it may relate to what is happening in the story. This makes the messages even more powerful on a personal basis, as it is allowing you the space to raise awareness in yourself by observing objectively. I thoroughly recommend this book to anyone that isn't already living the life of their dreams!

This is one of the best books I have read in personal development (and I have read many), story is captivating and without noticing it draws you in to make change in your own life.
While I wanted just to enjoy book, on the way I did all exercises myself, it without trying inspired me to look at my own life and make changes.

I am coach in training and I found this book very helpful in the way that it explaines with easy language coach and coachee relationships, different techniques, great coaching questions and how it shouldn't be so complicated as I thought.

Thank you Samantha for this great book.

This book was addictive, it kept me turning over more pages than I intended at the time and I had a couple of late nights as a result! If you feel you need motivation, confidence or any 'self help' kind of therapy then I would urge you to try this book. Written in a fun way with lovable characters it puts thoughts into your head that can direct and help you through life....the most important book I have ever read and I can't wait for Samantha Babington to get cracking with her next book.

I have to confess that I have read a large number of "self-help" books and although many have been useful, none have really been entertaining - until now. I stumbled upon Serendipity's Secret by chance and bought it out of curiosity, thinking that it might contain just a few interesting snippets, but how wrong was I? The book is a delight as well as being very informative, It is well organised, well written and above all, a really good read. I identified immediately with the characters and once I started it, I couldn't put it down. Each chapter cleverly deals with a different aspect of self-improvement and builds on the last chapter and I found myself taking a long hard look at aspects of my own life as I got deeper into the story. I cannot recommend this book highly enough and look forward to future books by the same author.
