Product description

Review

'The opening is explosive - and things only get hairier... This book has more twists and turns than a slalom skier solving a Rubik's Cube. The action skims unstoppably, it's hard to put down... A scriptwriter should be busy at work turning A Sentimental Traitor into a movie' --Daily Express

'A cracking opening... Absorbing and packed with insider detail' --Daily Mail

'A Sentimental Traitor works! Most of us can imagine our lives ruined by some EU agency. When the public demands such novels, it's over for Brussels... Speaking of which, buy the book. You'll enjoy it' --Daily Telegraph

'Spine-chillingly accurate about the ambitions of the EU bureaucracy. Exciting, evocative and contemporaneous' --Nirj Deva MEP, Vice President Development Committee, European Parliament

`Harry Jones MP, Michael Dobbs' series hero, runs into trouble in A Sentimental Traitor when he investigates how an airliner was brought down by a missile. Someone is out to destroy him, but who and why?' --The Sunday Times, 11/03/12

About the Author

Michael Dobbs - Baron Dobbs of Wylye - is an active member of the House of Lords and an internationally bestselling author who has never been far from controversy. He has worked at the centre of British politics for Margaret Thatcher, John Major and now David Cameron, and was once described as 'Westminster's baby-faced hit man'. He is the author of 17 thrillers, including House of Cards which became a hugely successful television drama, and three previous Harry Jones thrillers, The Lords' Day, The Edge of Madness and The Reluctant Hero. He tries to live quietly near a pub and a church in Wiltshire. For more information, go to www.michaeldobbs.com.
