I found the overall plot interesting and completed reading this book to satisfy my curiosity. However I found some of the relationships between the characters lacking in credibility and the author explained everything in such detail that it denied one's imagination the opportunity to interact as the book progressed.

I couldn't put the book down reading it at every opportunity. It had me gripped from the beginning with a twist at the end. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes psychological thrillers.

Despite the plot being somewhat farfetched, this story is quite enjoyable. Understandable as it is that Garry wants to discover his biological parents, the conclusion is less than credible.

Sorry, could not make it till the end. Pushed on and on and finally gave up around 50%. Found it quite boring, not much was happening, story was too simple.

Really enjoyed this book, well written, easy reading and I found you soon got drawn into the storyline and got to know the characters.

Can certainly recommend and I will read more from Peter Martin.

The book started off well, but soon, for me, became totally unbelievable.I must admit that I got a bit bored and skipped a few pages.

Too complicated with an unbelievable story line. Worth giving a miss.

I can't believe I actually wasted time reading the whole book (long train journey is my excuse). I teach English and my 9 year olds would have a field day correcting the unrealistic dialogue, lack of description and slow pace of the first half of the book. It did improve in the second half and the idea of the plot line is solid but the number of times the characters actions contradicted their speech made it really difficult to engage with them. Please consider a major edit and it could be readable!
