However - It is now just over 6 months on and I am less impressed. In that time they have had fairly light use : 2 gym sessions of an hour a week, with some breaks for holidays etc (One month I was overseas and did not go at all) and I have done my best to take care of them: wiping them down after use and storing them carefully.
First point - despite the fact that these are billed as 'sport' headphones, there are small metal screws on the inside just above the earbuds and (in my opinion unforgiveably) these are not rust-proofed. Despite cleaning the sweat off after each use within 6 months these screws have completely rusted.
Second point - They have just developed a loose connection. The wire is very thin and obviously when you are jogging it gets moved back and forth against the plug where it goes into the mp3 player - just 6 months of (in my opinion) very light use has caused it to break.
Overall I would not recommend these headphones.
These are comfortable to wear & sound OK. I did, on some of my earlier runs, try to use the in the ear type but these pulled in my ear and this caused a noise in my ear when my foot struck the floor. I thought the cable was pulling on the earpieces.
These avoid that happening in two ways:
1) The band is curled around the top of your ear, which supports the weight of the cable on the headphones (not as uncomfortable as it sounds!).
2) This has a small crocodile clip type thing that can be attached to the cable. When attached to the cable and to your clothes near the top of the cable, with a small amount of slack between the clip and the ear-piece, it seems to stop the jerk on the headset itself- so no more pulled out cables.
The things I like are the funky green color, the fact that they are resistant to sweat and the sound quality is much better than my previous pair. What I don't like is that they are quite tight in the ear-hole which has two negative effects. Firstly, if I am working up a real sweat the ear-piece and the water in the ear form a bond which means I can't hear anything around me, which is not so good if you are running outside. I therefore have to move them occasionally to let air in. The second is that if I leave them in for more than an hour my ears begin to get a little sore.
Despite the negative points I still give them 4 as they are very robust, -designed specifically for sport and squeeze nicely into my sports bag.
They are fantastic. The other pair just wouldn't stay in. These are rock solid and don't budge. And the neck band doesn't get in the way on the bench or the mat. What's more, the sound is loud, clear and rich. Nice deep bass and crisp trebles. In fact, on these earphones I've heard details in two songs that I've never picked out before - and that was in the gym!
Can't fault them for quality, sound and doing the job. On the rower, the treadmill, the bench or the mat these stay put and sound great (and I think the green looks fine).
I don't think these can be beaten for sports use.
He does quite a bit of running and has over the years opted for the headband style of headphones as the are easier and more comfortable to wear.
Most of his headphones are good to start with & then after no time at all they wear out.
He was really pleased with these headphones so to be on the safe side I ordered a second pair at a later date just so he had another pair at the ready.
The first Sennheiser PMX70 headphones have lasted 21 months before the wire broke down, which is pretty good for the amount of use they have had, so now hubby is off running with the brand new (spare) set. I will now purchase another spare so he has another one at the ready hopefully in another 21 months.
Id give them an 9/10 for fashion and 7/10 for comfort and design as it could do with more of a rethink on the head loop.

Very comfortable, but mainly light in weight.
