A few months back, I bought a set of sennheiser headphones as a birthday gift for a family member. The quality in sound blew me away so when my Logitech headset broke, I thought I would give these a go. They are similarly priced and though the Logitech ones did the job, these are way out there in sound quality. The quality of sound is incomparable, I have only just had them and I have only listened to the one album, Ash 1977. After that I think my pc speakers are going to be made redundant and am wondering if I will look like a tool with them connected to my i-pod.

They go feel a little cheap though, but do fit comfortably, very happy.

First things first - The sound Quality:
Even though this is a "PC VOIP" headset, this is simply the best pair of headphones I have ever used...better than the pair of JBL I bought for twice the price!

The sound is natural, clear and the bass is excellent!
I've had this for some 8months now and I still love it

Getting to a more detailed analysis, here's some pro's and con's
The good:
1. (Like I said above), excellent and unsurpassed sound quality
2. Long extension cable allows for freedom to move around while on a call.
3. Neutral design means you can wear the microphone on either the left or right side.
4. Comfortable over-the-ear fit which helps for long durations. Personally I dislike the around-the-ear ones because they drown out all outside sound.

The bad:
1. No volume control. This is about the only bad thing I can think of; and thus I whole-hearted give this a 5/5.

I bought this as a reasonably cheap headset for Skype calls. It is superb for that - nice and light, good sound quality all round and reasonably cheap - much better value than all the more expensive headsets I've tried and simply better than some.
It is also good for listening to music, but I don't do that much - you'd probably want a better set, with more bass, for that.
Yes - I know you can get cheaper headsets, and I've tried a few really cheap ones, but the PC31 is great value.

Recently bought myself a new laptop and was looking for a headset to use when web camming and came across these Senheisers and after reading several reviews I decided to buy them and I was not disappointed. They were well packaged and although this meant destroying the box to get them out it was worth it because they were well protected. As usual they are well made and the extra long lead comes in handy when needing to move around. These headphones and Mic have a 3mm jack plug for in and out audio so no need for any discs to be installed. Some have complained about the lack of a volume control but why this should be an issue is beyond me because any adjustment can be made via the computer or whatever program you have opened using them.. They are very light and very comfortable to wear even after long periods of time wearing them and the sound quality is superb.. My friend on the other side of tghe conversation told me the voice was crystal clear. Listening to music with them is just as pleaserable and the tone and bass just right. If your loking for an all round headphone and Mic set then look no furyher then these, you will love them.

The product is lightweight and comfortable, microphone quality is crystal clear (can be heard at a whisper), audio quality is great. It's also much cheaper than other products on the market. This is not going wrong anywhere.

Let me preface this review with the fact that I'm a mild audiophile ( I like things to sound nice but I don't care too much about brand-names or tech-specs )

Having said that, I've always had a good experience with Sennheiser products in the past.

This time was thankfully no exception .. for the price.

The Good :
Audio quality is good, with a suprisingly good bass response for such a small over-ear driver. However, they do seem to be missing a little upper-mid-range, but only a little.
The microphone is also good, with no reports of poor quality from anyone I've spoken to using the headset.
They're 3.5mm jack. which means they will work without drivers and regardless of OS. Something of a boon when multi-booting.

The Bad :
They *do* feel a little flimsy. After punishing my big Sennys for a few years now I get the feeling that these just won't take the same punishment. The headband in particular feels a touch on the plasticy side.
No L/R indicator. It took a good few moments to work out that the mic only rotated one way, so that *must* be the left side.
Cord and jacks feel a little cheap too.

Overall :
These fit the bill perfectly for chucking in my laptop bag, and for use on teamspeak ( I move the headphones forward off my ears to use my main speakers, but still use the headset mic ). They are comfortable enough and at the price I paid ( 25 quid ) they are certainly worth it.

If you want them primarily for HQ audio though, they aren't a patch on a "slightly" more expensive set of ear canal headphones. But then, that's not what they're designed for.

Yes I would buy another set, and probably will in a couple of years when the flimsy bits break on these :)
