As for the glass; it is glass - not plastic as one reviewer tries to claim. And some of the most famous and very expensive mechanical watches are automatics of course, and even if they're certified chronometers, have a look at what their daily accuracy is actually guaranteed to. You'll be surprised!
It feels a lot more expensive than the £52 I paid for it and am pleased with the good quality finish.
The second hand sweeps around the face of the watch which is a nice touch.
A note for all that it might appear that this watch has the days in both English and Spanish. To overcome this pull the crown one click. Turn up to change the date and down to change the day. To ensure the accurate AM/PM is used then set the day and date for the day before and push the time forward onto the next day.
Strap is dire, replaced with a NATO very quickly. Fit and finish have been perfect.
However the second hand fell off yesterday when I went to put the watch on. Bit of a shame, I've got a 50 year old Seiko Seahorse that'd been through more than this and has no problems, but a modern watch fell apart after all of three months!?
It keeps time accurately (for its price point, that is), is very nice to look at and is in general very well build.
I replaced the straps, as I wasn't a fan of the olive green.
