Drew and Hannah were summer friends throughout much of their childhood until their late teens. Hannah had a massive crush on him and he had feelings for her, but never took things further than a kiss, as he had a future laid out for him that wouldn’t have room for her.
Ten years later, Drew comes back into Hannah’s life to collect an IOU from her. He needs to marry to inherit his family’s business and she is the only viable candidate.
Hannah had never forgotten Drew and is persuaded to become his temporary wife. However, she is determined to show her workaholic husband that their marriage could be forever. He just needs to let go a little.
Drew is a straight-up, solid guy who is wary of making himself vulnerable. He’s spent all his adult life devoted to his family’s company and has had little room for serious relationships.
Hannah is the sun, moon and stars rolled into one bright, shiny, gorgeous woman. I loved her personality and her sassiness, and she draws the Drew from their summers together out from the serious, grownup Drew.
A great, romantic story. Loved it!
But it was beyond rushed!
The story was so short I read it in less than 2 hours (so not worth the £2.40 I paid) and I just couldn't get my head around the main characters, probably due to the story being so rushed! Drew seamed to have multiple personalities and Hannah was such a doormat!
It could have been a great story but I won't be reading anything from this author again I'm sorry!
I loved this book, i loved the way she described the scenery. The charaters were believable.
The story itself was great, i read in three sittings. Cant wait to try out other books by this author.
I just love the Montgomery's can't get enough of them.
