This is a really nice doc(mock)umentary, since it's exactly halfway between the 2 subgenre. The 2 main characters interview people from cinema industry to get their opinions, tips and maybe money to make a new film, but maybe they are not going to make it. It's just an excuse to talk about cinema. But the interviews and the encounters they have with thsoe people are real and true, and that's what really matters. A brilliant idea well carried out by James toback and Alec Baldwin, which gives us intereseting and sometimes brilliant insights and thoughts about where cinema is going, what questions you should ask yourself when trying to make a film now, and how cinema industry and business make filmmaking somehow harder to accomplish than before, because now it's all about money and playing safe, much more than in the past.

A highly enjoyable and illuminating insight into the world of movie financing. I now understand why it took 20 years to find the necessary finance for Dallas Buyer's Club.
