Oh Be A Fine Galaxy Kiss My Lips
---Astronomy's Mnemonic Device for Classifying Stars
Can astrology help you sidestep doom? Definitely. Can astrology predict events with certainty? Nah. Blame the Uncertainty Principle, baby. But we can LEAN on that future, and make it GIVE US RESPECT, get me?
Glad you stopped by, Pilgrim. We don't get many folks out here on the edge of the frontier. Pioneer country, you see. Gets mighty lonesome. But the stars are nice. Smoke? Marshmallow? Here's a hotlist, then, of some of the new, early 'frontier' exoplanets. Don't burn your eyeballs on 'em, now...

The author really knows her stuff and the book is packed with tips and stuff you don't find in other astrology books [eg transits/ red/lights green lights tables, national charts etc]. Her descriptions are witty , funny and to the point. A good easy to read astrology book. This is my second copy as the first was so well worn it had to go out.

Astrology books are usually dry and dull. Most will overwhelm a new reader with their calculations, chart erections, and planet analysis. However "Secrets from a Stargazer's Notebook" shows us an entertaining and humorous side to a typically sobering subject matter. Moreover, you don't have to know much about astrology to enjoy it. What you will need is a wicked sense of humor and the ability to laugh at yourself. What's more, it might even inspire you to learn more about astrology. Debbi makes it fun and a littler easier to comprehend.

It took me a while to get used to all those astrological symbols and everything. But you see... in this book everything is explained even these symbols, you get tables of ephemerids of all big planets and some small ones, and you have a special table that shows void of moon... The style of writing is compelling and interesting and it is true. I mean the personality descriptions are scaringly true! If you do not want to spend ages looking through charts and tables and more, and still find out about people, then this is THE book for you. Really.

This book will amaze you with its scarily accurate insights into your personality. The author pulls no punches and spares no feelings, telling it exactly as it is, the good and the bad, as she guides you through your birth chart. An excellent beginners guide to interpreting astrological charts, with loads of great extra features on how to use the cosmic situation to your advantage. Both funny andf thought provoking, this book is great!

I love this book but I have had my astrological position professionally mapped recently and so transferred this information over..Without doing this the book would be useless and difficult to understand as it relies heavily on astrological positioning by cross referencing astrology maps etc.. In a nutshell- not the book for a novice but excellent if the reader has some prior knowledge of astrology :)
