The stories about dodie's past and the little words of advice made me emotional and reminded me of times in my past.
I love how vividly it's written and it's so descriptive and so beautifully worded I can pretty much picture everything that's going on in my head.
It's just sooooooososososo good and I HIGHLY recommend listening to the songs when you read the lyrics on the song pages!! It gave me GOOSEBUMPS to read parts of it.
I got butterflies, goosebumps, tears in my eyes and at parts I had the biggest dummest grin on my silly face.
I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!!! Especially if you suffer from any mental health issues (I have anxiety and the first chapter gave me goosebumps and warmed my heart).
It's also very interesting to read about her own stories and experiences with depersonalization. It allows those of us without the disorder to not only understand it better but empathize with those who do.
All in all, an amazingly written book that is well worth a read.
