"The story is seamless... The plot is absolute genius. Chamberlain has written an intriguing page turner that is extremely difficult to put down." - ManicReaders.com on Secrets She Left Behind"

This author always manages to draw me into a story, makes me feel like I'm there in the plot and makes me care about every single character.
If you've not read these two books, id throughly recommend.
the whole story from beginning to end. I did find it a bit far fetched that the person who died in the end was the third
person to die out of her family but hey, this is fiction! I do love Diane Chamberlains style probably more than Jodi Picoult.
I enjoyed listening to the story from Sara and Keith's perspective this time but I'm not sure how I would have 'got it' had
I not read before the storm and I definitely agree with the reviewer who says it should be clearly stated that this is a sequel
to give the reader an informed choice. However, it seems others have read it and enjoyed it as a stand alone so it must be
ok. I just feel that having got to know the characters in the previous book made the experience in this book all the more
richer. I thought the ending was good and I was left feeling satisfied and not jumping up and down mad that it had been
rushed (like some books seem to be). Really enjoyed it.
At first I failed to see that BEFORE THE STORM was Book 1. When I finished the book and wrote my review I said that Andy and Maggie are just the coolest characters ever.
I still believe that Andy and Maggie are cool and that Book 2 made the story complete, I wish there could have been a third book BUT on the plus side, for me, there are plenty of Diane Chamberlain' s books yet to be discovered.
