As always Christian Jacq writes a terrific novel. He makes everything seem so real that you can sense yourself actually being involved in the time. This is a book that I can recommend to all, particularly anyone who has an interest in egyptology.

Christian Jacq’s had a very different Egypt in mind when he wrote this story, so don’t expect the expected. Not a book for Egyptologists but a good read for everyone else.

I wanted this because I had read the first part as an audio book from the library. I enjoyed it and it arrived fairly quickly and in good order.
