Film was quite good, it had the chance to be epic but never quite reached its potential.

I loved this film, it had a brilliant mixture of humour, emotion and adventure. I really liked how they did things a bit diffrerently at times in the film just as you thought you were about to see a cliche. It really is worth watching, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Wonderful ending too.

The original 1939 book sounds good and makes sense. On this basis there is loads of scope to make a really funny film
with a man daydreaming to break free from his mind numbing life. However, this film does not convey the kind of suffocation
of being trapped in a life you are not happy with like 1950s USA - Revolutionary Road with Leonardo Di Caprio. It also is
not sufficiently escapist or laugh out loud funny. It's very disappointing from what appears to be a promising starting position
in the writers' room.

This is nothing like the original film with Danny Kaye. Nothing like at all..
This is a brilliant whimsy. A film with depth and lightness of being. The 'imaginings' of Walter Mitty are funny and moving and if you like Ben Stiller you will love his performance. All the cast are lovely and wonderful! I have watched this film 3 times and still see more in it each time.
