If you are looking for a contemporary romance to read during the holidays...look no further. This book tells the romance of Sara and Jack in a simple yet prosaic way. It is well written and a quick read.
There is an element of drama in the book with Jack showing a tendency towards violence and this is connected to his past. Sara too cannot seem to totally commit to Jack because of her past relationships.
Jack and Sara have been in love with each other for a long time but each has been in their own relationships and there has never been a right time. When they both free, they get together and the result is explosive. While they are both so right for each other, there is an underlying element of them not getting on because of their strong characters.
A great adult romance.

This book told the story of Jack and Sara, first introduced in "Tell Me You Want Me"
This book was way way better. I found it very emotional and a very compulsive read, I finished it in a day.
Im a bit cross with this author though because if you read Tell Me first you are introduced to Jack and Sara and info in the epilogue somewhat spoilt this story, so my advice there would to not read the epilogue in that book until you have read this book. If you read this book first it would ruin Austin and Janes story.

5.0 out of 5 stars Caught in the Storm! 12 Jun. 2013

oh Jack! Damn he's hot! This book was definitely an emotional roller coaster. A few times I actually yelled out loud "Stop being a jerk, Jack, and TELL HER!" But he was the best kind of jerk. Jack has a secret from his past that Sara wants to know in order for her to trust him. He's afraid he will lose her if she knows. The chemistry between the two is unbelievable. I was rooting for a happy ending throughout the entire book but there were so many things going on that I just didn't know if it would happen. Aside from a terrific storyline, the sex was HOT! Oh the things they did to, and with, each other! While it was pure sexual aggression, it was also completely passionate. Overall, Amelia James did a fantastic job creating these characters and their personalities (along with a description of Jack that would make ANY woman melt)!

I am so silly, here I am reading this book and realised after about the first 3 chapters this was the follow on from tell me you want me. Ha ha I read it a while back now and loved it and when I seen another Amelia James book I thought I'd give it a go. It's so funny the part that made me realise was the toffee stash..lol..anyways.. I liked Sara in the first book but I loved her in this and Jack well he was awesomely lovable in both. This is a wonderful romance that deals with lots of downs and tantalizing ups. It is well written and in Amelia James fashion funny to boot.

This book was just okay for me. Not nearly as good as the first book in the series, I was not able to connect with the characters and their issues.
