Arailia's a fabulous character and I love the way she has a little of both parent's in her.
Although a little frustrating, her struggles at calling her powers are I think imperative to the plot, as are the struggles with two hot, hot, HOT males (like mother like daughter?) ;)
Absorbed into the world and lives within instantly (although I thought I would hate it because of Hale & Clay) and I'm in love with Aralia & everyone beside her.
Araya's still a bad ass though - which I love and I am so glad she is in this book (even with a bit-part).
Some very steamy scenes - as with most of her books Owens doesn't disappoint, and a very good plot - as with all of her books Owens doesn't disappoint
Can't wait to get my teeth sunk into the second haha!! :)
SPOILERS - I hated that Hale had passed away 10 years before this book commences and didn't think I would enjoy the rest of the best. So was very pleasantly surprised how quickly I became absorbed in the storyline. I think it was pretty evident quite quickly that Jase could read Aria's mind and that he was the commander. Loved the pull they had towards each other.
Pretty quickly loaded the next one on my kindle!!!!
I end each one with a feeling of loss as I have to say goodbye to the amazing characters brought to life by this truly talented writer!
The stories are all so different yet they all manage to draw you into them with ease.
This trilogy is no exception I found it fast paced, exciting and totally impossible to put down!

I read this in less than a day and not because it's a short, easy read. It's fantastic as is most work from this author. It's fast, full of twists, and completely gripping.Published 8 months ago by Rachael French
