This book is the best! and it's even better as a play. Comming from Leicester myself, I find it easy to visulise places and charactors-Which is very important! I'm only 15 years old, and when I read the 'Adrian mole' diaries I see myself in so many ways; especially my insecerities. I recomend this book/play to any one:of any age. It makes you take a good look at yourself...and laugh!

The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole is a diary of a teenager's life. It shows all of the trials and tribulations that he goes through, including teenage crushes, homework, spots, problem parents and much more. This is one of the funniest, most enjoyable books I have read this year, I just couldn't put it down! There are other books in the series, and I can't wait to read them! I would definitely recommend this book to anyone but it is more suited to an older reader from the age of 12.

This book is very cool! If you are ever worried about anything, you can just read it and know that at least there's someone who has more worries than you! The funniest diary you'll ever read - i can never make mine that good!

Made so much sense using this than creating our own play with the SEN students where the focus was rather upon having spots. Sue Townsend maybe under estimated for her impact in the classroom. Teachers, youth clubs worth a buy
