About the Author

Renata McMann and Summer Hanford began writing Pride and Prejudice Variations together in 2014 and have since become immersed in the amazing world Jane Austen created. Whether you’re a fan of Darcy and Elizabeth specifically or of clean Regency Romance in general, you will enjoy both McMann’s ability to imagine variations of this classic love story and Hanford’s skill in turning these variations of Mr. Darcy, Elizabeth Bennet and their enduring love into entertaining stories.

An interesting variation of the original story and not a bad plot either.
The book was too short though. I wanted so much more! It felt as if the author was rushing the story just to reach the finish line, yet there was ample opportunity, throughout each chapter, to have expanded and therefore provided the reader with the pleasure of savouring those precious moments between Darcy and Elizabeth which are so necessary to the story. Catherine de Bough and the Gardiners had hardly a few moments' appearance before they were whisked off out of it. I don't understand why the story was so short? For this reason I would award 4 stars...however the Americanisms and poor proofreading were irritating so I've docked another and awarded 3.

Story of if Anne de Burgh married Mr Darcy first then Elizabeth. Enjoyed the book up to the point where Elizabeth moved to Pemberley, as this happened half way through, truthfully the story thereafter was so bad it became unbelievable and ridiculous.

Got this book on kindle unlimited and I have to say it caught me straight away but the end was so abrupt that I barely knew what had hit me. That really annoyed me. I expected something more in the Austen style to close the story. Hence the 3 stars.
