Book Description

Another hilarious and swashbuckling adventure!

From the Inside Flap

Sebastian, Max and Cornelius are ready for another adventure and heading to the bustling port of Ramalat. Once there they intend to embark on a perilous sea journey in search of the fabled lost treasure of the pirate King, Captain Calinestra.

But first they must make it through the dark and mysterious forest of Geltane and survive an encounter with Leonora, a powerful; enchantress with a terifying secret and a magical hold over Sebastian's senses.

And if that isn't bad enough, when they finally reach Ramalat, a feisty female sea captain: an infamous young pirate; ravenous sea creatures, giant lizards; furious sea battles and breathtaking action await them.

Will they discover the lost treasure? Will Sebastain live to tell the tale? Will Cornelius be beaten in armed combat? And will Max EVER stop moaning?

Like the previous review says, this book is indeed deja vu because it just continues the story where Book 1 left off. Once again really funny and a stronger plot than Book 1. The author's web site is good and he responses to all message allowing me to be ready to order Book 3...

My boys (12 & 14) loved this, read it very fast, and wanted the next. They read lots, and don't always agree, so if this gets thumbs up from both it must be good!

Another cracking read from Philip Caveney following on from Prince of Fools - and I will pass on the recommendation to several friends who had great feedback from grandchildren on the first Sebastian Darke adventure.
