As the other reviewer said this is super stable and has incredible voltage regulation.
My 12v reads as 12.000 and the other voltages are just as impressive.
Fan doesn't kick in until 400w system load or can be turned on via switch for an added cooling solution if need be.
If you need 1000w & can afford the premium then i would say this is the only PSU to buy.

Oh and did I mention the 7 year warranty?

A 1000w psu is meant for a build with 2-way sli which is good to have under the bonnet and this fits the bill perfectly. Not only is it quiet but it's also very efficient to minimize wasted power.

Check JonnyGuru, TechPowerUp, Guru3D and they all give this power supply a near-perfect rating. This is what drew me to this selection aside from Seasonic's stellar reputation for quality power supplies.

I got this to replace an aging TX950 not because it was bad, but because I'm a firm believer that you don't wait on a power supply to start flaking out on you before you replace it. This has kept all of my home-built systems running without fail until I deem them obsolete.

This Seasonic is my first fully-modular power supply. It now powers an Intel i7-3930K, an Asus P9X79 Pro, an Intel 520 Series 120GB SSD, an Intel X-25 M 80GB SSD, 2 Western Digital Black Edition 500 GB hard drives, 16GB Corsair Dominator RAM, a Corsair H80 CPU cooler, 2 GTX 680s in SLI, an LG DVD burner and 8 fans (2 on the radiator and 6 case fans) all within the confines of a Thermaltake Spedo case. I still have 2 PCIe 2x8-pin cables left over (and connections for both) as well as an SATA and a couple of 4-pin molex cables. I could theoretically connect two more 680s and another set of fans or power another strand of SATA-powered disks. I do not need 1000W for my system, but I know if I add more video cards or if new cards come out with an increased power requirement over the next 7 years (this is the warranty period through Seasonic!), this supply can do the job.

It was easy to install due to its modular design. There were absolutely no "gotchas" with this Seasonic unit. I removed the old power supply and then installed the Seasonic. Cable management is even made easy with the supplied zip ties and more than enough velcro ties. After it was installed I flipped the power on and made sure everything was running as expected.

I leave the hybrid/normal switch on normal mode. I am not concerned with PSU noise so much as when the 680s ramp up, there is nothing in the system that is louder. I'm not saying they are annoyingly loud; just that they are the loudest components in my system. There is no reason for me to try Hybrid mode as this is a hardcore gaming and video production machine.

The number one aspect of a great PC power supply is you just don't notice it's there. It does it's job. The Seasonic does its job with 80-Plus Platinum efficiency. This might make it slightly noticeable in a great way (electric bill). The modular design and all of the included velcro straps and zip ties make cable management especially easy. A 7-year warranty is the best you can get (7 YEARS!!!). This power supply will be with me through 2020 and most likely 2-3 platform updates and 3-4 graphics card updates. The thing that makes this power supply great is the excellent electrical ratings as well. Nothing touches it from a standpoint of delivering the cleanest power to your components in an efficient manner. Pretty awesome.

Non ho potuto valutarlo, per il semplice fatto che ho dovuto restituirlo alla ditta..il problema e che aperta la scatola ho notato che mancava di garanzia della casa .7 anni..il kit per il montaggio..vitti cacciavite ecc..e l'adesivo sul controllo fan era stato rimosso..
Come ho detto alla ditta sembrava un ex demo o addirittura un usato......la cosa positiva e che ho restituito il tutto non spendendo un €..e sono stato prontamente rimborsato da amazon, e questo e molto positivo..!!!
La cosa negativa e che e stato rimesso in vendita ad un prezzo convenientissimo..ma se poi non e un prodotto completo..chi se lo compra lo restituirà sicuramente....

Ich kann hier nicht technisch exakt urteilen, ob jetzt jede Angabe auch erfüllt wird, Für mich erfüllt das Netzteil seinen Zweck ohne wenn und aber, hat ausreichend Leistung und zeigt keine Schwächen.

Das einzige was vielleicht erwähnenswert wäre - weil ich es auch nicht wusste - dieses Netzteil ist erheblich größer alks ein reguläres Netzteil. Also es ist länger. Bei mir führte das dazu, dass es einen Luftschacht verdeckte und ich deshlab den Staubfilter am Boden des Gehäuses entfernen musste (das Netzteil ist bei meinem Gehäuse unten montiert). Auf den Bildern ist das nicht gleich ersichtlich, einen wirklichen Mangel sehe ich darin aber nicht, dennoch denke ich, dass es bei vielen Gehäusen durch die Bauform Probleme geben könnte.

Für einige mag auch das Gewicht - welches erheblich ist - eine Rolle spielen, speziell, wenn es an der Oberseite hängend montiert werden soll und das Gehäuse nicht alle Schraubpunkte des Netzteiles abdeckt.

Ansonsten wie gesagt - ich bin sehr zufrieden, das Netzteil ist flüsterleise. Schön wären jetzt noch Staubfilter, aber in der Regel ist das Aufgabe des Gehäuses.

Ich gebe hier 5 Sterne, da das Produkt für mich keinen Mangel aufweist oder nichts wirklich schlechter macht als vergleichbare andere Produkte.

Se fosse possibile selezionerei zero stelle!
L'alimentatore dopo poco tempo (nemmeno un mese di vita) ha iniziato a spegnersi da solo, anche più volte al giorno, quindi l'ho prontamente reso ad Amazon.
Avevo dato una seconda possibilità a questo modello di alimentatore (il primo l'avevo acquistato presso un altro rivenditore online) , ma 2 su 2 hanno presentato lo stesso identico difetto (non male: una percentuale del 100%).
Sconsiglio vivamente l'acquisto e sicuramente non prenderò più alcun prodotto Seasonic!
Se volete un alimentatore affidabile vi consiglio l'EVGA Supernova 850 G2 (che ho attualmente installato sul mio pc).
