I read chapters of "In serach of Andalucia" as I visited the towns and areas that they covered and they were great! They were much more in depth than any lonely plant or travel guide. They were interestingly written - not as obviously funny as Chris Stewart's range of books - but definitely the most enjoyable way to learn a lot about the towns I visited as I passed through them.
I think this book is perfect for anyone traveling in southern Spain and ideal for for any expats living down here, near Gibraltar or Malaga.
This book enhances any weekend road-trip into the REAL Spain, especially for the visitor who wants to learn more about the history of the places.
