Warning! Make sure you check these drives for SmartEvent errors. Im on my third attempt. Drive will look and feel fine but scan the darn thing once it's hooked up.
My RAID contrallor picks up on it straight away, however my other PC only finds the smartevent error after a full scan.
SmartEvent means drive is likely to fail in the near future.
Drive is getting 1 Star, which is a shame because I got other Seagate drives that are 6 years old and still going.
I think the main issue is the packaging used to deliver the product does not provide adequate protection in tranisit.
