Nothing to dislike. Bought 2, edging my bets that if one was faulty at least I'd have 1 to work with. But instead, I have this to report. They arrived 2 days ahead of schedule. They were sealed in individual anti-static bags, inside individual well fitting cardboard boxes, each separated by a generous layer of bubblewrap, which inturn was surrounded by another separate layer of bubblewrap, which then had larger bubble bubblewrap surrounding that, all squeezed neatly into a sealed cardboard box with "fragile" taped around it! This has to be the most protected parcel I've ever recieved from anywhere! The drives were both in immaculate condition and upon testing were found to have never been run. But looks can be deceiving..... so off to the surface test they went. Each drive took over 18hours to test and....well.... the pictures speak for themselves! Not one single bad sector on either drive. So I'm extremely happy with my purchase.
Just a couple of points. Read the review where someone goes into detail about dampening the vibrations of the drives. These puppies aren't the quietest so if you were thinking of sticking them in a tower close to where you sit then you'll need to take steps. Mine are going in the loft so I couldn't care less how much noise they make 😆 Also, I don't know if this is just my set up, but I needed to convert these from MBR to GPT Format as when formatted to my PC they only showed 2.1TB. This is the issue with MBR. But a quick conversion and you get 9.1TB Yes it says 10 on the drive but if you feel you have been scammed just type "why do I lose space when formatting a hard drive" into Google and all will be revealed.
So YES I do recommend.
