HASH(0x9ec8db28) out of 5 stars A great graphic novel that has a STORY! 21 July 2011
By vac - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
I bought the first of these books on a lark because I had a gift certificate at a local books store and wanted to use it all in one shot. I am a fan of graphic novels from the days of ElfQuest, and I have pretty high expectations for a great print. Even though I read a lot of good comics/books/graphic novels, I don't really think many qualify as great, I would say this series fills the bill. It's a good short story, it surprises, but you without being too cerebral. The artwork is very fitting to the story. It's just a simple pleasure... give it a read. One word of caution would be that these are meant to be read in order, get the first book first :)
