These boots address both the above issues, their well made and very comfortable for not much money, they are also probably the first descent work boot I've ever bought, I have no problem paying a small fortune for trainers which I wont wear that often but work boots never considered buying anything but cheap.
Again your likely wearing a work boot for the longest time and for your health and safety, so why compromise. Everything about these boots scream quality to me. I like the ankle support in particular that feels very supportive and if you do twist your ankle these boots may stop it from braking, the sole looks solid and is made of a dense non slip material, not like the cheap boots for £15 / £20 pounds where the sole starts wearing out within eight to twelve weeks and with all the rainy weather recently I can confirm these are waterproof.
Not the lightest boots I've come across but substantial in a good way, after all they are working boots
So in conclusion these are the finest work boots I've ever owned. .
Disclaimer, "I paid for this myself", either during a lightning deal or full price
The backs desolved leaving sharp plastic that shredded my heels until I could afford another pare.
There were in the bin with eight weeks.
I do very long days but unfortunately, not good enough.
Probably just a dud pair.
The lace hooks are flimsy and bend easily when knocked by timber, My son has been bending them back into shape regularly.
Altogether an awful purchase. Not recommended and if I could get in touch with the seller I'd be asking for a refund but they don't reply!
Update, I have worn these boots no more than 6 times for a very short period each time and the right boot lace has broken. If working offshore or abroad take spare laces.
Still comfortable though.
