Installation method:
1. Please read the instructions before you mount the light, you can also create your own installation method according to your own preferences.
2. Clean the dust, ensure the back of your TV is free from dust before installation to avoid falling off.
3. Remembers to connect all things done, and test whether it is light up, then peel off the tape and install on your TV or somewhere you like, then plug the USB and use the remote to control.

It is best to use this kit with computer.
What software is needed?
Windows: Ambibox or Prismatik
Mac Os/Linux: Prismatik

Attention:
The led strip only work properly after installation on TV or computer screen. If only few led light up.Itrsquos not quality problem! Please check the installation and setting. Please follow the Instruction to set up the strip kit.

Setting up the Ambibox Capture Software.
Run the Ambibox software, it auto minimizes itself to the system tray so right click its icon and select show.
Under the "Intelligent backlight display" menu select device and set this as "Adalight" Select the Port and select the COM port that your device has been detected as, if you're unsure have a look in device manager.

PRO TIP: if you find your colours are washing out or seem very white rather than colourful OR getting a white backlight on a pure black screen adjust your gamma settings. It will take a bit of fine tuning but worth it!

I ordered 3m to fit my 27" monitor, it doesn't fit so I can only assume i didn't receive the right length... its too late to measure as I have already installed it and the double sided tape has already allowed the bottom line to fall off not 24 hours in.

The colour white, purple, pink and yellow aren't accurate and there's no way to sufficiently correct this colour. So white is soo blue, its offoutting.

The item was delivered amazingly fast and way before the expected delivery date.

The software was okay, but like a previous comment you do need to download the CH driver before the amblibox software.

I would give this 4 stars even with the length shortage etc, but the software never hit over 30fps even when I said to hit 60, and its not a cpu problem as It uses less than 3% on max, also the gameclaw mode just doesn't work?

I've tried a more expensive alternative to this using camera "technology" and sent it back within a day. Brought this product, admittedly it came straight from China but was delivered within a week. Easy to stick to the rear of my monitor, just make sure that you fold the corners so the led light is exactly on the corner itself. Software instructions are a bit rubbish but anyone who knows how to use Google can figure out where to download the Ambibox software and CH341 drivers. From questions I've seen on this product, it will ONLY work with Windows or Android and not directly with a TV only Philips with their HUE system cab do this. For 28 pounds this is a bargain and works better than my Ambilight TV I have.
