I first ordered one of these for my well travelled friend and was so pleased with it I hinted at one for myself. It's very satisfying to scratch off places you have been.

I have mine mounted in a large frame from IKEA as sadly it doesn't get updated much. It is a nice wall feature in addition to the scratch off element. It is quite tricky to rub off small countries neatly and the obsessives will be upset by this but otherwise it's a great gift and highly recommended.

I ended up buying three of these for my teenage brothers and they seem to love them! The maps are quite big and goes up easy on the wall with the help of a pin in each corner. They're fairly easy to scratch off and the map itself isn't ruined by the scratching as it's some kind of plastic-y material. I'm really happy with these and they're a great gift for someone who likes travelling!

I found the product to be much larger than I initially thought, making it even easier to distinguish between places.

I thought this was an absolutely brilliant idea!

Was bought as a Christmas present for my girlfriend, its a great interactive way of checking off the places you have been together. It comes in a protective tube and rolls out and in easy enough if you're not sticking it to the wall, it comes with a protective layer so the scratch surface doesn't accidently scratch off when unrolling. The countries and islands scratch off in different colours which adds a bit more colour and depth to the map.

It can be tricky getting the exact lines when scratching off as at first I used an ordinary coin, after not doing so great a key works better and allows you to follow the lines a little closer and keeps it much neater.

Id fully recommend this map for travellers, holiday makers etc, aside from your pictures and videos from places visited it is a good reminder of where you have visited and where you are yet to visit.

Idea bellissima per segnare tutti i posti visitati nel mondo, che non sono mai troppi. Arrivata nel suo originale tubo che evita che si danneggi la mappa. Grattando via la patina, simile a quella dei gratta e vinci, il paese si colorerà. Piccola considerazione per come appenderla: molti la appendono su della bacheche di sughero così da rendere il "grattaggio" più veloce, ma così si rischia che si rovini un pò la patina quindi io ho preferito appenderla con una semplice cornice con vetro protettivo davanti, che sfilo ogni volta che visito un nuovo paese. L'effetto è più carino ed elegante ma soprattutto si evita di danneggiare la cartina.
