1st with this publisher. Good+ condition book with dust jacket. DJ is clean, has fresh colours and has little wear to edges. Book has clean contents with some lighttone spots to page ends.

Not a single word in this book, which starts with an introduction by ACM Sir Basil Embry and foreword by the German Ace – Robert Spreckels – who brought down Braham and his Navigator over Denmark in June 1944, is wasted. Braham tells a corker of a story.
This book is very well written. After reading Night Fighter (Fighter pilots) and Cover of darkness (both great reads) this book is the perfect complement. Braham was the kind of tenacious pilot that you just wouldn't want to tangle with. As you read you get a real taste of his aggressive style and his single-minded will to mix it with the enemy. This is an exciting book from start to finish and I would recommend it to anyone.
