it was amazing
Well if I thought the first book pulled at my heartstrings then this one shredded them. Gosh these guys are definitely keepers, they fall hard and forever, they also go all out to protect their loves. Andrea already coping with so much with her injury, her life has been completely ruled by its demands, now being threatened and not even knowing why. Shamus is awesome the way he looks after her and accepts everything, doing all he can to make life a bit easier and when she has a bad day look after her until her brain unscrambles itself again. Suspenseful and thrilling read, completely lost myself and before I knew it id finished the book. There is some graphic violence and explicit sexual content. Some unexpected twists which even I didn't suss, which is great as I usually figure them out long before they happen. If you haven't read books by these authors before then "Shamed#1" and "Scorned#2" are worth starting with as they are Novellas, if you like them then I suggest you start both authors from the beginning. I have read all of Ryan Michele's books and a few of Chelsea's, though I have more of hers to read. I have never been let down by either and have fallen in love with their stories and characters, I very much look forward to more of this series in the future.
This is a fantastic collaboration of authors, and I have loved every one of their books individually as well as together. This is a novella but still had me intrigued and hooked throughout. I recommend for all MC lovers out there.
This story picks up directly at the end of Shamed.
Andrea Lynn Davies and Austin ‘Shamus’ Fletcher were high school sweethearts. Totally smitten until a misunderstanding, leaves Drea (nickname from Austin) feeling betrayed and humiliated and running off to pursue her dreams of becoming an investigative journalist.
Unfortunately nothing lasts forever, and fatally tragic accident has Drea returning to her home town to try and rebuild her life.
10 years ago, Drea left Austin with no explanation and unbeknownst to her left his heart shattered. He is not what you would picture as a typical biker – he likes his hair neat and short with his face clean shaven. He found his home with the Ruthless Rebels MC and has enjoyed his time fighting, boozing and sleeping with a stream of nameless faceless women. Until the day she walks back into town and throws this world out of orbit.
Can two scorned souls come together and forget the past? Or will they continue to let it fester and possibly ruin their chance at a happily ever after.
I loved this story more than Shamed, and I think it is solely because I like the character of Shamus more than DJ. There was a role reversal in that I liked Shamus and want to throttle Drea and tell her to get her head out of her backside. Another classic tale and cannot wait for the next instalment.
A second chance romance, with an Alpha male who won't be letting his woman getting away a second time.
Austin and Andrea were teen loves before Austin who is now Shamus joined the Rebels MC.
This is one of those love story's were a misunderstanding had torn them apart and 10 years later discover the love never died.
Scorned has an interesting plot told in dual pov's an MC read that is based more about the family of the MC and what is going on in the lives of the characters unlike some MC reads that has an element of darkness with bloodshed, angst and danger, although I do love those kind of MC reads too.
Great characters, Andrea is back from being an investigating reporter in a war zone and someone is out to get her and Shamus won't be letting anything happen to his woman, he has lost her once and it won't be happening again.
Contains swoon worthy Alpha male, action, hot moments and is a great series to follow.

Title: Scorned (Ruthless Rebels MC #2)
Author: Chelsea Camaron & Ryan Michelle
Genre: MC, Second Chance Romance
This is the second instalment of the Ruthless Rebels MC series again it's just like the first another tale of second chance love but don't let that put you of as it's completely different for starters it's more raw and emotional and in my opinion far better than the first which in it's own right was a great book.
This is shaping up to be a brilliant series based on this and the first book, I loved the storyline and the characters they're all extremely likable and easy to connect with well the goodies anyway nobody likes the bad guys. Chelsea and Ryan make a good team I can't wait to see what's next for the men of the Rebel MC.
Shamus was my kind of guy, dominant, strong, determined, loyal and loving oh and don't forget sexy. Now as much as I tried I just couldn't take to Andrea, I felt plenty of sympathy towards her and was happy she got a second chance with her first and only love, but that's all I have, I didn't connect with her character and found her draining, but that's my personal opinion.
Overall I am enjoying this series and hope there are more books to come, there are certainly plenty of interesting characters to learn about.
