If there is someone on the planet who doesn't know about the show it is about a group of friends Fred, Daphne, Velma & Shaggy who travel round in a van the Mystery Machine with there Great Dane the one & only Scooby Doo solving mysteries.
Shaggy and Scooby are the stars of the show voiced by the legends Casey Kasem as Shaggy and Don messick as Scooby Doo, they are best buddies, perennial bait for Fred's numerous traps, and champion eaters.
I suggest you grab some Scooby snacks and re live this wonderful show, which kids today love just as much as when they were first shown. I don't care what anyone says to me a talking dog to me is just funny, Ri Ron't ro rhy.
This set is almost worth it on it's own just to hear the classic line from the thwarted villian which seemed to be in every show, '...and I would have gotten away with it, too, if it wasn't for you meddling kids'.
The plot follows a basic story line, bunch of kids stumble across a 'ghost' with a crime involved - a mystery. They solve the mystery, by uncovering various clues while being chased around by a ghost who turns out to be a bad guy dressed up. Quite fun and still enjoyable today.
AND as there are 24 episodes, your brain wont go numb watching the same DVD over and over again with your kids.
Money well spent.
Great price; plenty of episodes (24) including classics such as 'Which Witch is Which', 'Miner Forty-Niner, and 'Scooby Doo and a Werewolf Too'; and nicely packaged into three discs. Essential.
My only problem is the use of 3 double sided DVDs, given that it would only require 4 dual layer DVDs to store the same number of episodes. Here in Australia it is very common to find 6 discs stored in the one standard case.
Also, on my US copy, the title card of 'That's Snow Ghost' blacked out for several seconds, but this does not occur in this release.
