Great book, has many useful examples that you can follow well. Only in about 5% or so (guesstimating) will the example skip some steps, but only after having already shown you how to do that part of the math. It is not a beginner's book, more to be used, as many others have also observed, as an auxilliary reference book to be used in conjunction with or after having been at least exposed to an economics theory textbook. I took economics many years ago and have some recollection of the theoretical concepts so this helped refresh my memory regarding the math that I struggled with back then or forgot since. I think this is a great tool that will help you out if you are an upper undergraduate taking economics, or a beginning graduate student in economics.

Mathematics and Economics is challenging, especially when you don't have a good foundation. Thanks for responding quickly. Text arrived quickly and in good shape. Price was unbeatable! Thanks!
