A satisfactory conclusion to Claude Michelet's excellent trilogy on the small village and farming folk of mid France, a true and entertaining social history for a century from the mid 1800's.

This story which forms part of a Trilogy by Claude Michelet is most delightful. Those were the days of difficult every day living which people thought of as the norm.

Highly recommended to those who live in rural France and want to understand the area rather than find where you can get a Brit Night and fish and chips.

Michelet writes an account in his trilogy of the social, political and ec onomic happenings in France over the last 100 years. The books are brilliant. A good book is a good book , it doesn't matter if it's new or second hand - excellent sevice Amazon.
