I used this last year while travelling throughout Scandinavia and Finland. It was useful in identifying sites of particular interest and I found I was generally in agreement with its recommendations. Generally the advantage of the Michelin Guides over others is its star rating system, which enables one to prioritise sightseeing. Other guides may be more up to date (I bought the Lonely Planet Guide to Italy for this reason)but I miss the star rating system.
The Michelin Scandanavian Guide is up to their usual standard.I have a number of their guides and have found them very informative when deciding where to visit on holiday. When time is precious , as on a cruise, they are especially useful.
