I've read this little story in one evening and what a blast - for fans of Strictly and anyone who loves a bit of romance, it's a great Xmassy read. Harri is such an appealing hero and I was hoping Julia wouldn't be voted out of the dance competition too early. The book is unusual in that Georgia Hill skilfully manages to combine sweet romance with some hot bedroom thrills!
Highly recommended, but just one tiny niggle - i would have liked to see the final Rumba and its sexy dance moves acted out in more detail! But nevertheless a satisfying ending to a sparkly story where sequins rule!

If you have withdrawal symptoms following the close of yet another series of Strictly Come Dancing (at time of writing anyway!), then this short, romantic story will probably hit the spot with you!

Set around a reality TV celebrity dancing show, we follow the trials and tribulations of actress Julia and the delectable Welsh Children's TV presenter, Harri. Not only do they have to endure some weird and wonderful fellow contestants, but also some real whip cracking from their professional partners - grumpy Russian Jan and sultry Swede Eva! Julia thinks things could hardly get worse, as she stumbles through her Samba, when it is announced they she will be appearing in the Xmas special..... and the celebrities will be paired up with each other! Not only that, but she is chosen to dance the Rumba with who else but the delicious Harri, who she is already beginning to have something of a crush on.....

If you enjoy contemporary romance and you love Strictly then this will be your slice of pizza! Looking forward to the next instalment!

Say it with Sequins should delight anyone who enjoys Strictly Come Dancing or Dance with the Stars. It's a sweet little story about television presenter Harri and actor Julia and the trials and tribulations they face when they take part in a dance reality TV show.

Although there were too many peripheral characters for me, perhaps Georgia Hill will explore them further in the next two novellas in the series?

Recommended for a quick, easy read

There were aspects of this book that I found hard to get to grips with, mainly that there are a lot of peripheral characters which were surplus to the main plot. For a short novella I personally would have preferred there to be less named characters which would have made it easier for me to follow.

However, as a huge Strictly fan and a dancer myself I absolutely loved having a story about dance to snuggle down with. The rumba certainly lends itself to a bit of sauce and spice and I think Harri may be my first book boyfriend of 2014. Honestly, I loved him. It made me wonder why on earth there aren't more Welsh men in romance books because they are HOT! Especially when they talk Welsh... Mae'n boeth iawn...

I enjoyed how the romance built up and found both main characters easy to warm to. I just wish it had been longer so I could have had more of hunky Harri. Honestly, Georgia, get writing more about him. Please. I'm begging.

Cheesy in parts but also the kind of sweeping romance I adore, I'll definitely give the other books in this series a whirl...but until then, I'll keeeeeep dancing.

This is a lovely little contemporary romance, perfect for enjoying before bed or when you don't have much time. Julia Cooper and Harri Morgan sign up to appear in the celebrity dance show, Who Dares Dances. They are attracted to one another from the outset but as everyone knows love, like dancing, is not simple or straightforward!

Harri and Julia have depth and are well-drawn - something difficult to achieve in shorter formats - and their chemistry smoulders both on and off the dance floor. You really want them to get together. Harri in particular is a delight. Who couldn't love a tall, dark, handsome guy who whispers seductive endearments in Welsh?! The secondary characters are intriguing too. I would love to know more about Daniel, for instance, and hope he appears again later in the series.

As a relative newcomer to the delights of Strictly Come Dancing, I was worried I'd be bamboozled by technical stuff but the romance takes centre stage so Say It With Sequins works for both long time Strictly fans and newbies like me.

A fast, fun and flirty read with plenty of passion and humour mixed in with the sparkle - I loved it!

Note: I know the author personally but I did not receive an ARC and purchased my own copy. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.

I really enjoyed this warm and witty novella. Georgia Hill brilliantly captures the thrills and the excitement of a reality dancing show, and her two leads are characters to love and to root for. First of a series - I'll definitely be back for the rest!

I chose this rating because i really enjoyed this book i was constantly hoping that the two main characters would get it together through the hardships. I liked the dancing and romance element of this book there wasn't anything that i disliked. I would recommend this book to dance lovers and people who like romance.
