    I learned to cook from this book when it came out 25 years ago. Lent it to someone and never got it back. I still make many of the dishes in it, because they are a hit basically. Great for feeding people and me (this isn't haute cuisine). The special occasion recipes, that I didn't make all the time, I gradually forgot how to make and was missing my book. Couldn't believe it when I saw it on Amazon for a very reasonable price. We've been reunited and I'm happy. Delivery was bang on time. Thanks!

    This is real Cranks...great grub, sensible easy recipes for the stuff one actually eats. OK, the photos , in true Cranks tradition, are few and awful, heaven alone knows how they managed that, but trust me, the food looks great, tastes great, and is easy to make ! Thanks, Amazon, for letting me get hold of the lost traditions of the original and best of Cranks as it was.
