<strong>What a heart breaking story</strong>

This story is the second book to Savage brothers.

We join the gang after breaking Dragon.

Dancer is finally free from prison after killing a man, who is bad. He is angry at the world and has to fight his darkness. He didn't believe he would ever be the same again after prison, after his spirit was chipped away bit by bit. Until he meets the girl who knew his baby sister, comes waltzing back into his life.

We meet Carrie, she has always loved Dancer from the age of five. She moved to London Kentucky under the protection of Savage MC after her parents was killed in a car crash. She feels guilt over Dancer being in prison, he only in there because he saved her.

Will Carrie get over her guilt? Will Dancer defeat his darkness? Will we find out who Phoenix is? What's he got to do with Dancer and Carrie?

This story is heartbreaking, but also lovely. It shows you can get over anything with support.

WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW!!!!!
What a story, what a book. I thought the first book was amazing this book knocks that book out the water!!!!
This is darker then the first book and with the subject matter, it is a hard subject to talk about anyway but, this is more hard to talk about.
Dancer may be a jerk in this book but there is always a reason, a reason for everything and my heart goes out to Dancer and I loved him more and more as the book went on.
I loved how Dragon and the rest of the MC had his back and let him work out things for himself and when he was drowning they were there to help pick him up and they didn't judge. I loved that about them and Dragon, he was amazing in this book and I feel in love him all over again.
The sex was hot but also very raw.
This is an MC book at it's best, in it's raw purity, Valeant in places but also gut wrenching.
I don't know how Jorden Marie did it but she did. Her words and subject matter really hit home and it was done incredibly tactile. This is an amazing book and incredibly touching. This brilliant and One of The best MC book I have EVER read.

OMFG i must warn you that when you read this book, make sure you have a box of tissuses handy... Yes its emotional!!!
Carrie and Dancer have known each other for years, Carrie was best friends with Dancer's sister, Jazz. Growing up together they have both tried to hide their feelings.
When A situation arises and Dancer goes to prison, he blames Carrie! After his release and a ton of twists and turns (and lots of mind blowing hot sex), can they finally be together? Or will the past pull them apart forever?
This is a beautiful story of a journey of two people that love each other yet keep being pulled apart for different reasons. Its an emotional rollercoaster and can leave you breathless and with white knuckles. It has a wonderful HEA with two perfect characters that you just can not help but fall in love with!

WOW!!! Talk about gut wrenching and emotional journey. You get sucked into Dancer and Carrie's story and you can not help but want to slap the hell out of Dancer and hug him at the same time. Right the way through the book you get to feel his pain and suffering. He is such a strong person but the typical male victim. It was nice to see that he didn't overcome his struggles right away, he struggled all the way through the book. He pushed and pushed because he thought that was the best thing for Carrie.
Carrie is a such a sweet and shy girl who loves a damaged biker boy. Even thought she has her own issues she stay at Dancers side, even though he pushes her away and humiliates her in public on a number of times. You can see that he does love her on some level but is afraid to feel for her. But Carrie was a string women who pushed through all the hurt. I loved that she stayed at his side but I also loved that she was string enough to walk away and do right by her for once. The emotion in this book was mind blowing and well deserved 5 stars. Amazing job Jordan.

4.5 Heart breaking Stars

I have to admit I liked the first book in this series ok but I completely loved this one!! This book completely toyed with my emotions, I felt completely wrung out by the end of it and my eyes are puffy and sore from all the crying I've done.

Dancer went to jail 2 years ago, we first meet him in Breaking Dragon and instantly know something bad has happened to him. He was so angry and hurt all the time which meant he lashed out and hurt the ones who were closest to him the most. I have to say I wasn't sure how I felt about him. In the beginning he was horrible and although I understood why, it just hurt my heart the way he treated people, Carrie especially. It didn't take me long though to completely change my mind and fall in love with him, he was just so broken and lost that you couldn't help love him in the end even after all the stupid things he said and done.

I'm quite surprised by how much I liked Carrie, she took so much abuse from Jacob but she did so knowing that he was traumatised and looking for an outlet for his anger. She wanted to fix him no matter how horribly he treated her and normally I would think she was weak for letting someone treat her so badly but for some reason she just appealed to me and I really sympathised with her. I don't know how Carrie stuck around for so long, some of the things Jacob said to her completely broke my heart and I couldn't believe how well Carrie took the verbal punches on the chin.

This story was not rainbows and sunshine so if that is what your looking for this isn't the book for you, if your looking for something a bit darker than your normal romance novel pick this one up you wont be disappointed.
