The Savage Angels have had more than their share of loss but when war is declared by an unknown they rally together to once prove they are a club not to be messed with. Things have been quiet since the tragic events surrounding Dane and Kat's wedding, with the club finding its balance after the horrors but unfortunately life in an MC is rarely a walk in the park. The Cherry is shot up, an MC member is found beaten to death and Destiny takes a personal hit in the latest war to start on their turf. The Savage Angels are unsure where the threat is from and they battle against the clock to find those responsible. Can Dane lead his MC to victory, claim retribution for the losses and keep Kat happy or is he just juggling too much?
This is also Destiny and Kade's story. After finding her in a car wreck he becomes her rock. Helping to anchor her during a storm of torment he quickly realises that she holds the key to his heart. Destiny feels safe in his arms and with the help of Tobias she slowly starts the healing process. Can Kade see past her being a victim and see the woman that desperately needs him? Kade is lost in his need for vengeance and to find those responsible. Driven to keep Destiny safe whilst doing club business can he be the man she and the club needs?
This fourth book in the Savage Angels series does not disappoint. It's fast paced, has all our favourite characters and has the usual blend of romance and angst that we have all come to love.Read more ›
As with the entire MC, the men are strong, alphas, protective, and lovers, and Kade is determined to get revenge for what has been done to Destiny. This is a beautifully written story about how these two heal each other and become soulmates. Once again Kathleen has upped the antsy and this is a remarkable story.
I recommend this authors work for all MC lovers, and cannot wait to read more of her work!
I've been hooked with this series from the start. Luv Kat and Dane and now with each book we get to meet and learn more about the other characters and their ladies.
Kade and Destiny go through such an emotional rollercoaster through this book. I'm hoping we get to see more from these two characters in future books cause I feel we've only just scratched the surface with them.
Was gutted for both Kat and Dane too. I'm impatient for the next book now. Loving these guys. Can't wait for more.
As with all the previous books, Savage Lover is told from multiple POV's and means that we get lots of insight from previous and new characters. It also means that each read is quite fast paced and doesn't stagnate. However, for me, it also means that we don't always get right into the heart of the new characters and in this case, I would have loved a little more from Kade and Destiny as it I felt we just brushed the surface of them.
What I really did enjoy about Savage Lover was that it was packed full of MC action. I enjoyed the plot and thought the MC element of the story was great.
I was gifted a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I down rated the rating because I hate cliffhangers and this most certainly as one which annoyed me, and I didn't like Kat at all. I didn't like her attitude.
The storyline was mind blowing yet I felt the drama and climax of it was a little rushed...only a little. I enjoyed the MC characters, they were all solid and alpha male like.
Love this series and can't wait for the next book in the series.
The characters were great; Zeke is awesome and I hope to see lots more of him as he wasn't the main lead in this book. The guy who was though, Kade, was the kind of bad boy everyone likes to love. You know the kind, where they are tough, moody, sexy as hell but you just know they will protect you with their life and make you explode like a firework in the bedroom. Yep, he's one of those!
And as for Destiny... loved her. She stayed strong despite what she went through and refused to bend to the will of the bad guy. She's someone I could easily be friends with. Well, you know if she was real and not a character in a book. I feel like I'm gushing, and maybe I am, but I'm so impressed with the way this series is going, I can't help it.
Anyway, I think you should get the idea by now that I really enjoyed Savage Lover and it gets a big fat 5 stars from me. I really can not wait for Savage Sacrifice.
