Used to learn about culture differences before taking business trip to KSA. Very important to make good impression. Thank you.

A good starter for Sadui business visits. Probably needs updating on a regular basis to remain relevant, as conditions in KSA change/

A 'must read' for anyone considering living in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

I would also suggest wider reading around the subject to develop a wider perspective.

An interesting, readable and practical reference book. It gives a reasonable amount of advice about the country for visitors. Nothing particularly shattering or inspiring though.

Great info, and it's really down-to-earth, and not rose-tinted at all. Tells you what you need to know, and it's very interesting, and very respectful at the same time. It's many times increased my desire to go, even though it tells you negative things to look out for, and for me this has made an exciting culture seem all the more fascinating. Recommended!

A good guide to what to expect once in Saudi Arabia... Unfortunately, most online data and books at the moment are not really up to speed with Saudi in 2009. However, this gives a simple view as to your expectations once there on how the Saudi's live and work and their culture. For a better guide to the country get Rough Guide - Arabian Peninsula, as it is the most current. Nothing you read really prepares you for living in Saudi, some things are stricter than you expect and others more lenient. If you have the opportunity to explore this country then do, bearing in mind it will be more restrictive for women!
