What can be said about vinegar. Sarson's are a reputable firm, producing good quality vinegar. It arrived within the agreed timeframe and is now in my kitchen ready for use. i will continue to purchase as required. I cannot comment further,really, I do have 28 litres of pickles currently waiting consumption. Perhaps that will be an indication of the amount of vinegar used. 10 ltrs so far.

I've no idea what 'thickness' means in this context. Apart from that this is the usual Sarson's malt vinegar so there's nothing much to say about it. But I have a big complaint. The cap is very difficult to open, and once you've got ove that hurdle the shape of the container is such that it is very difficult to pour. It's not the weight or the quantity - I buy my olive oil in 5litre canisters and have no difficulty decanting.

who rates vinegar by thickness? We have started stocking up and buying in bulk due to the pandemic and an hard brexit approaching, this works out the most economical purchase on amazon. Unfortunately it looks like someone gave the bottle a kicking as the neck around the cap was pushed in and vinegar had leaked out into the bag that the carton was wrapped in. Good deal I would buy again but needs better packaging and handling.
