I bought this item without a customer review, so I'd thought I'd write one...

This product is simply brilliant! The packaging and postage were quick, and once installed, the power hike I got was unexpected. I have upgraded from a Nvidia 7050/610i integrated graphics, up to this. The card itself is brilliant, being able to run ANY this generation game at high/maximum settings. The price was a STEAL, and the 2gb model makes the money worthwhile. Obviously you would get high performance with a newer model, but having two of these in CrossfireX would be better than most single graphics card (cheaper too!).

To sum up, I am very happy with my purchase, and would suggest this to any person looking to upgrade!

5 Stars!

What a fantastic little piece of kit we have here!
Easy Install
Plain and simple fitting instructions

And oh my god when it's installed you really notice the difference!

If you're like me and you have a little Dell half height pc that you want to kick it's backside into the 21st century then this is the graphics card to do it with!

It took my Graphics Window Experience from a very modest 3.2 to 6.8!!
More than double that of the on board VGA Adaptor I had.

Now you're sitting there shouting at your monitor, "but what is it like for game A**hole?!"
So I'd like to respond;
Firstly that's not a very nice word!
Secondly,
I have FSX, Dead Space 2, Civilization V and Railwors 3 installed on my computer and from those games I can tell you, they're 20x better!
Also if you ram your Windows into 3D or watch a 3D it copes perfectly with my 3D tv and this beautiful graphics card.

All in all it does what it says on the tin... And a little bit more.

Great seller too, came next day about 10am.

Thanks for reading,
Alex

I purchased this graphics card based upon specs and price. Saphire is a well known manufacturer of graphics boards from both the ATI and nVidia stables. Whilst I have used nVidia graphic cards for the past 5+ years, I thought I would try ATI again (their previous OpenGL drivers were not stable or fast). This card has good core and memory bus speeds, coupled with 2gb DDR III memory makes it suitable for everything but the latest games, set on full graphics.

I do a fair bit of film editing/rendering on this particular PC setup and this graphics card copes well with those tasks. I also run several multi-user online games at medium settings, which this copes well with. I have not noticed any increase in noise from my system, due to the graphics fan and even under pressure, the card remains quite cool.

This is not a top of the range craphics card, but neither is the price. What you will get is a stable, quiet, cool graphics card that is well tried and tested, stable drivers, at a very fair value for money cost, from a well established and respected manufacturer. You can run most games at full graphics spec, including the latest ones, but maybe at slightly lower settings. I can vouch for the film editing/rendering abilities of the card, along with CPU/GPU shared rendering costs, as being excellent for its class. Win7 64 bit rates this card as a 6.8 for both 3D Gaming and Aero.

I purchased this card to use in an Acer Aspire SFF Media Center PC. This card comes with low profile brackets and has a low power draw. This is working successfully with the Acer's 220w PSU.

Card gives about 30 FPS in SWTOR on mainly high settings and 60 FPS in WOW on medium. This is with Core 2 Duo 2.8 CPU. Also very low CPU usage when decoding HD TV from freeview HD card.

Contrary to other reviews this card is extremely quiet and can hardly be heard when watching TV. Compared to to a Sapphire 5570 card i have in another PC it is whisper quiet.

Overall very happy with purchase.

I bought this as an upgrade to the HP DC7800 Business PC. The onboard graphics are good for nothing!.

I was going to go for the 5450 but that is a really basic card. So I gambled on this one working with my 240 Watt PSU and PCI-E X16 Slot.

It works perfectly, no complaints from the PSU. I have tested it using Half Life 2 and Portal 2. Plays both smoothly on top settings. These are not the latest games obviously, but I am more than impressed.

The card is powered through the bus, so does not need a PCI Express power cable. (Which was a must for the DC7800.

It comes with a low profile bracket that you need to change yourself, if your using the VGA output then you will need 2 free slots as the VGA output takes up another slot. It is easily removed if your using DVI or HDMI.

One problem I did find was that the card/computer automatically disabled the onboard audio when the card was installed. I had to go into the BIOS and re-enable it.

Apart from that it went smoothly.

Spec of my PC for your comparison is.

HP DC7800
CORE 2 Quad 6600
4GB RAM DDR2
240W PSU (Just 7.5amps on the 12v rail)
Windows 7 - 64bit.

a 2gb card for this price is amazing,
Using it on a 3 year old computer with 4gb of ram and a intel pentium 2.6Ghz dual core processor
and I can run any game i want, recently played Black Ops 2 and batman arkham city on high settings and ran very smoothly.
You might need to up the fan speed from 15% to about 20/25% as it pre-sets itself to 15 to help it keep cool when playing games but you can leave it at 15 at other times.
ps. I dual screen with a 22 inch HD monitor and a 15 inch vga monitor and it works great with this card.
