I just bought this item and successfully installed it into a Windows 7 32 bit computer. I feel obliged to mention it, because one of the previous comments mentions a incompatibility with Win 7 platforms.
If built into an existing installation, Windows 7 will install it as a generic VGA card.
I recommend installing the driver using the Device manager. Just use the update driver function and select the CD drive (obviously insert the CD before that) as a source, checking the box saying "Include subfolders". Windows will find the driver and install it and you'll be able to enjoy this very powerful card (BTW I scored an awesome 6.4 in the gaming graphics Experience Index rating).
