Being the only girl in her family, in fact the first female born into her father's family in sixty-five years, Sandy found escape from Matchbox cars, smelly bathrooms, and a general disdain for anything feminine, in books. Eventually the characters in her own head, clamoring to get out, found their way to paper. "Wait for Me" is her first novel and represents her love of history, romance, and a touch of paranormal.
In her real life, Sandy works as a speech language pathologist and recently moved from the Midwest to a coastal town in Florida where she lives with her husband, two sons, and spoiled dog. She dreams in full length movies and tries her best to find quiet times to get them onto paper.
