Okay. I've been waiting for a dud in this series (sorry Lexi) since I first read 'The Dom Who Loved Me'. There almost alway is one. JR Ward's done it, Christine Feehan's done it, Sherrilyn Kenyon's done it and Lora Leigh was off the chart with here, they were so bad. But Lexi? These books are insanely good, so again, this book isn't the one. It was the Bond reference in the title that first attracted me to her books, because I honestly thought they'd be cheesy with a double helping of extra cheese! I've read every single book in the Masters and Mercenaries series now, and every single one is a winner. Without exception. Meh! Maybe I'm just a girl with simple tastes! The thing is, the plots are virtually the same. One of the gorgeous men from the BDSM Sanctum team falls in love/is in love with/has always been in love with but realises almost too late that he is in love with a female subject/co-worker. There's a bad guy who wants to assassinate someone or blow someone/everyone up, or sell super military secrets to even worse bad guys. Somehow, the love develops, then goes wrong - usually because the guy does something stupid - except in Love and Let Die (Masters and Mercenaries Book 5), where there's a little twist. But, usually, the girl feels betrayed and goes to leave him, he goes mad with remorse, they make up (in the best possible BDSM way) and everything is right with the world - until the next book, where a bad gut tries to assassinate someone/blow stuff up... and so it begins again.

Somehow, Lexi Blake makes this formula work without it getting any way boring.

Another awesome book about the Mckay, Taggert family, I want to be apart of it, now I will be waiting for the next one to be released. Looking forward to reading the new Lawless series when that comes out to if its half as good as the MT family then it will be well worth reading.

As usual a great story that leaves you waiting for the next instalment it's a shame we have to wait so long .I've just read the whole series again so I can remember who is who for the next one.
I always enjoy Nora Roberts find Robb depending on her name that day and I love a series it,allows the characters go become more 3dimensional

Another great story in this series. I love how each book reveals a little bit more about the characters at Sanctum, and how characters from previous books are still mentioned as the storyline progresses. It's great to know what's happening with others I've read about in earlier books, and how they all fit together.

Thank you for this series so far. I can not wait for the next instalment. These books are amongst my keepers and I imagine I shall be revisiting them again and again throughout the years as the series expands and I refresh my memory on initial events. I love these guys.

Lexi Blake's fabulous Masters and Mercenaries series continues with another outstanding story with characters you will fall in love with. This series goes from strength to strength, with each book becoming a must read for fans of BDSM romance stories. As with the other books there is a strong suspense plot line, with more crimes and evil doings for our heroes to solve. The McKay-Taggart family is still reeling from events at the end of Ten's story, and the plot thickens in this book - I really can't wait to see what happens next! I'm hoping we don't have to wait long for our next M & M instalment - I am totally addicted to this series and I'm already experiencing withdrawal symptoms!

I've been waiting for our favourite sadist's story for a while now, and Ms Blake didn't let me down. Kai is one one of my favourite characters, probably second only to Big Tag - and regular readers will know how much I love him! - so I was happy to see him matched up with a machochist who was worthy of his love. Kori is his assistant and has feelings for Kai, but she's been hurt before and is determined not to go down the same path again, so she keeps their relationship purely platonic. But when they get dragged into a hunt for a murderer, things start to heat up between them.

The BDSM scenes are ultra passionate, hotter than hell and very imaginative - I loved the sadisticks gift idea! There is very strong chemistry between Kai and Kori, but there is also real love and a lot of emotion. This is a fantastic book, it definitely receives five stars! Download it now!

I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for a honest review.

I thought I was reading a side story not the actual book from the series. I had to read three times, to make sure I got the gist of what was going on, as it felt too easy and maybe I was missing something. Always a fan,but this was not what I was expecting at all.
