After trying a compatible QI fast charger which disappointed I opted for the Official Samsung Fast QI.

Discounted by approx 50% I was pleased to find it as described. The performance using the Samsung Fast Cabled model is a little slower charging but works as stated(sometimes an issue with other brands) The fan is audible but not distracting the light is bright but no issue for me.

Safety cut out works perfectly adding 5-10 mins to charge time(light goes out on completion) overall recommended if you take the time checking reviews then picking a model that way.

Hi

I bought this for my bedside table, as the cheap one I had was "hit n miss" at charging.

Pros : good build quality/branding

Cons : the lip isn't big enough to house a phone with a decent case. I have a note 8 with a tech 21 case, it doesn't sit well when charging.

The blue light is a pain in a dark bedroom.

The gentle humming of the fan scared the crap out of me during the night.

Bought this for my husband when he got his s9 months ago, he loves the ease of it and the fact that it works with his phone cover on; recently got myself one to go with my new phone and I'm please with the overall aesthetics of the product and the fact that it saves me the hassle of a broken charging port which seems to be a recurring problem with Samsung phones.

I bought this to view my phone at my computer desk and not have to plug in to charge. It reclines the phone at too much of an angle. Its not suitable as a stand to use your phone while charging, unless you're okay with neck problems looking down at it and sitting up.

So I tried to use it then as a bed side charger at night. Bad idea! this thing has a fan that will keep you awake!

Now I'm stuck trying to find a use for this. Maybe I'll get a small table for beside my sofa and put it there.

Be sure to use the original fast charger to get any of the fast charge benefits on this. It's great on my bedside drawers, dead easy to get it in the right place to charge and looks good.

Only drawbacks is another LED in addition to the one on your phone, which doesn't bother me much but could bother you if you are particularly sensitive to light and will have this in your bedroom - can be easily fixed with software (turn charging LED off) and tape (block light from the LED on the charger).

Worth noting there is a small fan that keeps the charger cool. You'll only notice it if it's dead silent in your room, or you have incredibly good hearing. If you won't be using the fast charging capabilities, firstly you will not hear the fan noise, and secondly this is not the wireless charger you need.

Always a bit dubious when it comes to wireless chargers as I've had ones that don't hold charge for a long time. Im happy to say that this one doesnt provide as noticeably short battery life as those ones. Very easy to set up, looks good and most importantly charges quickly and effectively. Does not come with a cable so if you want fast wireless charging you need to use the one provided with your phone. Overall, great buy. Not a necessity but certainly a good accessory.

You cannot complain about the quality of the product and accessories,it looks the part feels the part but lets its self down with the working. It takes between twice and three times as long to get a full charge than by by connecting direct to the main fast charge adaptor,so if you are in a hurry-forget it. Having said that there is the convenience factor of not plugging in and out all the time. All in all a good product but not a great one.

Bought this whilst it was half price. Wouldn't pay the full asking price, but it's a handy little accessory to have on the bedside table and just making it that bit more convenient to charge when going to bed instead of having to faff around plugging he USB cable in to the phone.

It is slightly slower at charging, but that's to be expected really.

Works perfectly fine with the Ringke case I have on the S7 edge, which is quite a thickish case, but charges fine with it, so can imagine it's fine with most other phone cases as well. The phone rests against the charger with a lip at the bottom of the stand for support, and again, there's plenty of room for it to rest even with a case on.

It is quite large as well, so not the most portable of things. I don't think I'd take it along with me if I was going away for the night/weekend.
