I’ve got a homemade PC and so I’m able to add exactly what I need.
I had been tinkering with the idea of a motherboard SSD card for a while, even though I’ve got enough storage space with internal and external hard drives, recently my son wanted to play a game on steam, which he said seemed laggy..!!
There’s a newish graphics card and most of the components should be ok for a while, however the hard drives aren’t the most up to date with regards to read/write speeds.
Had a look on a few sites for a decent SSD and found this one on Amazon, price was within my budget and so I took the chance.
How I’ve managed without this cards read/write speed beforehand, is because the system was working within the parameters I’d allowed, new game comes out…’boom’ the size of these new games amazes me, however this new installation is recommended by my son, who can now play his game without moaning every 5 minutes.
