I purchased this SSD to go into a new Coffee Lake custom built desktop. I read reviews for several brands and decided on this for the best reliability and speed. I am very impressed.

Firstly, speed. This thing is fast. I was impressed when I upgraded to a standard SSD a couple years back which ran at around 500 MB/s. This is on another level. I get a consistent 3000MB/s read and 1500MB/s write. I am literally unable to use the speed available in this drive. I opted for the 250GB version so that I could upgrade to a RAID0 configuration down the line if need be, but honestly, I don’t need it. My PC starts up from cold as if it was in sleep. Programs start instantly, even CAD or editing software opens noticeably quicker. It’s insane.

Secondly, reliability. I checked the drive for faults when I got it and it was, unsurprisingly, perfectly healthy. The build quality is good too, installation is easy and feels sturdy, and looks much better than most M.2 SSDs.

I’m really happy with this product. I’ve had Samsung SSDs in the past and they’ve never let me down. They’re good quality and last a long time. I highly recommend this drive.
