Firstly thoughts on monitor. The screen and stand (while quite large) look very slick and I was looking forward to having it as my gaming monitor. In daylight the screen looked bright and was my first experience of 144htz which ran very smoothly. Now trying to use the monitor in a dark room is where the screens failings really shone, the light bleed becomes horrendous! Anything in the bottom corners of the screen was grey and light up like it had spot lights behind it. This was apparent on both screens I received, I dont know if im to picky or got two bad panels, surely the 5* reviews arent living with this?
I made 3 attempts to order the 24" Samsung and each time was a fail.
First one was "lost" by Amazon and never made the delivery date. They were only keen to offer me a refund but on calling them they sent out another screen. This arrived promptly, was clearly resealed and suffered horrible light bleed/uneven lighting. Return filed and the next screen sent straight out. This screen had also been resealed, suffered from slightly less bleed (still unusable) and 2 dead pixels. Contacted Amazon AGAIN demanding a new monitor not a previously returned one. After a wait on hold I was told I would get a refund as they couldnt promise I would get a new/working screen and the issue would be looked at.
Poor show Samsung and Amazon.
