Phone not working after less than one year

I really loved this phone, its a beautiful colour and easy to work, however i am rather upset because after only having the phone for less than one year its completely stopped working, it will not charge and is just dead. I know phones dont last long before they start to have faults etc and its like with anything they become worn because they are used so much but i would expect this after at least 3 years not 9 or 10 months. I have taken good care of the phone and spent lots on extra accessories to protect the phone from water damage and breakage. The finger print scanner does not work on my phone and the battery life runs out very quickly even when not running background apps etc. I am now left without a phone and cannot afford to currently purchase this phone in one go again. However the camera quality is excellent!
